Married Guy, The Meeting

A lot of women have gotten involved with a married guy. I've learned it doesn't matter your social status, age or even location. Why it happens may be for a variety of reasons, but here's my story of the married guy that was the center of my world for way too much of my life. And here's the story on how we meet....

It was 2002 and social networking hadn't gotten big yet. But BlackPlanet.com was big in Detroit. Almost everybody had a profile page. You could post your photos, a bio, other info about yourself, make friends and much more. It was pretty much like Facebook, but it mainly African Americans. I admit that I deleted profile in 2011 and really hadn't been on the site years before that.

I met several guys off the site. It was better than a dating website. It was free and easier to meet local people, especially black men. When I had a guy with the profile name of "MrGr8Body" send me a message I was intrigued. Though, I later learned the photo of the arms and back he posted weren't really his. Oh yeah, my screen name was "BigBooty805". <-- Hilarious!

We exchanged a few private messages and decided to meet at a local restaurant. He was hot, and I was being a young hot ass. I was 21 and he was 35. He was tall, dark and handsome and had a fast motorcycle. That day he ended up taking me for a ride across town. We planned to have a date the following weekend. The first date went well, which of course led to us setting up a second.

On the second date, we were parked in his Mustang outside my apartment. Things were getting hot and heavy and my exacts words were: "are you married? I just recently had a guy lie to me about this and I'm not trying to go down that road again." He replied, "no, but I'm still involved with my baby's mom." I should've let that be the clue, but I was young and hot and continued down the path of the married guy anyway.

So this was the beginning of what ended up being a six to eight year relationship with this guy. Look for part part two, How I found Out. This is an interesting story.
